By accessing or using Balwarte, operated by Tilted Games LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Description of Service
Balwarte is a text-based political strategy game set in a fictional version of the Philippines. Players navigate a political career from barangay captain through various levels of government up to the presidency. The game uses AI-generated content to create dynamic scenarios, newspaper headlines, and political events. All characters, names, locations, and events within the game are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
User Accounts
You may play Balwarte as an anonymous user or create an account using Google sign-in. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Account features include cloud game saves, leaderboard participation, achievement tracking, and profile customization. You may delete your account at any time through the Profile page, which will permanently remove your data from our servers.
Game Tickets and Purchases
Balwarte uses a ticket system to manage gameplay sessions. Free tickets are provided to all users and regenerate over time. Additional tickets may be purchased through the in-game shop via Stripe. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Purchased tickets are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to other users.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
- Attempt to manipulate leaderboard scores or exploit game mechanics
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other security measures
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts
AI-Generated Content
Balwarte uses artificial intelligence to generate game scenarios, newspaper headlines, character interactions, and political events. AI-generated content is created dynamically and may vary between play sessions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or quality of AI-generated content. The game presents fictional political scenarios for entertainment purposes only and should not be interpreted as political advice, commentary on real events, or endorsement of any political views.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and code that make up the Balwarte Service are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. Your game saves, character data, and leaderboard entries remain associated with your account but we retain the right to use anonymized, aggregate gameplay data to improve the Service.
Leaderboard and Public Display
When you submit a score to the leaderboard, your display name, character name, score, and gameplay statistics become publicly visible to all users. By submitting a score, you consent to this public display. You may choose not to submit scores if you prefer to keep your gameplay private.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the availability of game servers, the preservation of save data, or the consistency of AI-generated content.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of game progress, or interruption of service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Profile page.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.
